The latest Dengeki PlayStation review scores include the first score for Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and RAGE.
"Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (PS3) – 85/85/90/85 RAGE (PS3) – 80/85/90/75 F1 2011 (PS3) – 85/75/85/75 Ace Combat: Assault Horizon (PS3) – 85/80/95/85 Ken to Mahou to Gakuen Mono. Final: Shinnyusei wa Ohimesama (PSP) – 80/75/85/70" Pretty good score for ratchet, been looking forward to this game all year.
Yeah, way above average.
@NAGNEWS - Agreed You can look forward to a HD remake in 2012.
insomniac does a great job with a clever/funny story and fun to use weapons. In the past on normal ratchet can take you between 10-15hrs. Crack in time was about 12-15hrs long. Hoping for same length and same quality also hoping for ratchet and clank ps2 hd remakes. all 4 games on one disk. Didn't one of the ratchet game had a very fun online MP on ps2?
same here, looking forward to it all year! can't wait!
It scored better than RAGE? Attention acquired, Ratchet and Clank.
I thought the R+C beta was fantastic, but then again i thought all three R+C games on ps3 have been superb.
Now where is that ratchet and clank hd collection?
I want Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal, soooo bad in HD two of the best PS2 games of all time in my opinion They are AMAZING!
Completely agree, I put in so many hours into Up Your Arsenal..
I'm playing going commando on my 60gb rite now backwards compatibility FTW:D.
I think I put more hours in Going Commando? In the one level there is like a sewer where u can go through, killing all these green ooze monsters, collecting crystals which u sell for bolts. I did a damn big chunk of that. Also its really easy to get lost in those tunnels, its basically a sewer maze lol
@Relientk77 Yeah, I remember beating those jellies' squishy arses too, collecting all the sewer crystals for bolts. It was a great place to upgrade your weapons too. Nice score, can't wait for this. And R&C HD collection would be awesome, please Insomniac?
@ Reliantk - The sewers would be UYA, GC had the sand dunes and the frozen tundra. Plus proto-pets. And Qwark. Lots of Qwark.
Great score, I love the Ratchet and Clank series and I love Insomniac Games, they haven't dissapointed yet. Sounds like another great game from them. :)
Nice score. Hope the game does well.
Spyro > Ratchet and Clank > Resistance
Spyro lost it a long time ago.
Spyro, Spyro:Ripto's Rage, and Spyro:Year of the Dragon especially YoD was the pinnacle of fantasy platforming. Ratchet is met its prime in the PS2 Era... I really think this Gen Insomniac's pride and glory is Resistance especially with Resistance 3. It's just the best the studio has done! I'm totally looking forward to Overstrike! But I'm praying they commit to making more Resistance games... After R3 I think they've mastered their craft in FPS and story telling
The Insomniac trilogy of Spyro games was some of the finest platforming action to feature on the PSOne. The first one especially is still charm embodified; the music, the colourful world and Spyro himself. It was Insomniac's peak and it's a crying shame to see the franchise become so creatively bankrupt ever since. Honestly, could you imagine if Insomniac made another Spyro game for the PS3. :O
I can agree with this, Spyro is my #4 favorite game franchise ever if you don't count the non-insomniac games.
Nobody ever does, lol. Spyro WAS 1, 2 and 3. After that, it wasnt Spyro anymore. It may be the nostalgia talking, but Year of the Dragon is my NUMBER 1 Favourite Video Game ever. Everything about it was perfect. Second would be Crash Team Racing. That game is ENDLESS fun.
i only like the ps2 versions , they were amazing and fun , upgrading weapons , tournimints , story mode is pretty good , the gameplay fun but ps3 versions looks and plays boring , they made it for kids ....
I somewhat agree. I recently got A Crack in Time, and while the gameplay was really great, it feels VERY different from the PS2 series, mostly in style. The story is very kiddish friendly, compared to on PS2 where they actually did have a fair amount of crude humor which would pass right over kid's heads. All of the humor now is like Saturday morning cartoon humor. The whole thing feels marketed towards children. Sigmund's voice (can't believe it's coming from Nolan North too) makes me cringe. The music is like a typical animated hollywood movie, which... isn't a good thing IMO. The old ones sounded somewhat more electronic, and I loved that. Not constant orchestras.
