IncGamers: Square Enix promise that content will offer "good balance between price and the quality."
Maybe they could all be free? That would be a good balance between price and quality. If the DLC is nothing else than overpowered weapons that ruin the balance of the game, then I'd rather be without it. New areas, missions and story arcs are welcome though.
yeah for real. and well i like costumes. I think that a Squall Costume for Noel would be pretty awesome :P. but yeah wouldn't pay for weapons or monsters unless the monster was a character maybe
items DLC = lame.
pssh..anyway they can screw their customers. make a game in half the time and make customers pay for the rest.
Now SQ know something called a DLC so of course SQ will provide it a lot for us lol. S4BE
This really makes me worry if this game will have anything on the disc worth fighting for with out the need of my wallet.
"For examples, weapons, items and costumes will be available to download, but you may have to defeat a monster in-game to then acquire it." They're making us pay for the side-quest now. . .
They could've at least used some tact and expand the side-mission and give a title. That way, it would like something that is completely brand-new.
I miss the days when things like weapons, items and side quests were IN THE GODDAMN GAME. You shouldn't have to pay for something that should already be in the game, especially not something that has always been in the previous FF games.
its definetly not ok if its Day 1 or 1st month DLC but at other times its a way to deliver new content to the games we love before the sequel comes out in 2-3 years. good examples would be how we got the shivering isles expansion for oblivion to help the wait to Fallout or how we got awakening for Dragon age a year before DA2. well i guess im saying its cool when they release actual expansions that add new stuff to the game like the Fallout 3/NV add-ons but when they make you pay for 1 weapon or a 1 mega bite quest that could have easily fit on the game disc then its not ok
I don't know if that's a good or bad thing......
Couldn't say it better myself. XD
Looks like I'll wait till they bundle all the DLC with the game before I purchase this one.
