Hands-On Preview: Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure - Electronic Theatre

Now many of you will instantly read the title and assume Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure is another cheap and cheerful Spyro game for kids to enjoy, and not much more than that. Given the recent history of the Spyro the Dragon franchise you’d not be criticised for taking such a stance, but in fact you’d be very wrong. Yes, that lovable purple dragon does feature in Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, but it’s not solely about the cute fire breathing mythological beast, you can choose to be other characters and will need to in order to complete this new adventure from Activision.

Wow this makes me depressed. The first spyro is my favorite game of all. But stuff like this makes me cry.

Word..but spyro 2 was my favorite.I hate how they ruined spyro as well they just keep failing with it because they try to sell the game to kids,were originally it was suppose to be a (E)verone type game like R&C.I still play around on spyro 2 once in a blue moon.

Insomniac was Spyro's soul. He's now nothing more but a mere shell, an imperfect clone, a bastard child, if you will, in the hands of Activision.
