GameZone's Dustin Steiner reviews Spider Man: Edge of Time for 360 and PS3. It feels like a step backwards after last year's Shattered Dimensions. It's still a fun play, but there are gripes about the story and environments that can't be overlooked.
Bummer...i had such high hopes for this game :(
Play it and make up your own mind. It's relatively fun and the story is nice. My only real complaints are: I wish there was more of a butterfly effect with the actions of the Spideys that had a more dynamic effect on the gameplay. It is VERY similarly structured like Shattered Dimensions. Too much web ziplining. Some of the spaces are too confined for swinging, which is a shame. We are talking about Spider-Man after all. Still, worth playing.
I kind of want to check this out. But first I need to play the last Spider-Man game, and to be honest, that's not really a priority right now. =P
I wish rocksteady would make a spider-man game...
