RipTen: Ah, Ninja Gaiden on the NES. Such a groundbreaking game when it came out. Perhaps the first game to have “cinematic” cut-scenes which complemented its mind numbingly difficult gameplay. While it was absolutely nothing like its arcade counterpart, Ninja Gaiden on the NES became a classic and spawned a successful fanchise.

Thanks to 12KingFanFilms, we can see Ryu Hayabusa’s first 1989 adventure brought to life on film. Is it awesome? About as awesome as an 8-bit classic brought to life can be.

Thank you baby Jesus. Now I don't have to worry about lengthy button combos and tiring my thumbs out to get my fix of Ninja Gaiden. I can just watch.

I still remember playing the original when it came out. The cinematics were a big deal back then so the game was amazing.
