I was in the Air Force, and a job like that needs an escape... and video games do it perfectly. I have noticed that since I've gotten out of the military I have actually played video games less... I don't know if there is any relevant correlation or not... but there it is :)

...if they try to illegalize or "control" videogames because it is addicting, then they would have to do the same to coffee, soda, food in general, etc.

One can draw the conclusion that some teens are just not ready (and might never be) to handle this sort of violence. This is where mature and discerning parents should be involved in order to determine if thier 16YO could handle playing DeadRising or not. My-self I dont believe ANYONE should be exposed to games like this but thats just me, and its my opinion. Watch the Video of that German Maniac Kid (entitled Least Patient Kid Ever) playing a PC Game and you will see my point. Here is the link. http://www.break.com/top_ra...

science is what gets you things like a state kicking the theory of evolution out of it's science curriculum, and replacing it with creationism. 70% of politicians are lawyers and the rest are divided between farmers and small businessmen. They don't know a theory from a fact from a hypothosis from a paradigm shift. A good example is the California politician who while working to kill the nuclear industry proudly remarked to the press "the only physics I ever took was Exlax".
