Clearly, one of the best remake for this year.

Aggesan2231d ago

Excellent games. It would have been nice if they updated the textures and caracter model meshes though, like they did for the GoW remakes.

It certainly is, but then you couldn't really go wrong when remastering two of the greatest games of all time.

2 classics in one HD bundle, 2 dynamic themes and about an hour and a half of behind the scenes stuff.

This is a steal at any price :)

If they would have had the option to enable better controls, it would be an instant sell. I'm instead waiting for it to come down just a weeee little bit.

I thought the controls were fine. IGN and Gametrailers complained about them in their review, but when I played, I never was in a situation where I missed a jump or something because of the controls.

It was on sale at best buy for $20 for a whole week. Deal is over now.

I just finished SOTC last night having played through both games in order.... What can even be said?? The final hours of each game are two of the best gaming experiences I've ever had and easily the most emotionally moved I've been by a game since Half life 2. Also, I'm not ashamed to admit that my first glimpse of the final colossus made me pee myself.

yeah i was playing today against that gaint flying monster in SOC and man i was like
"OMG that was simply amazing"

jonwl892231d ago

The flying colossus was always my favorite, not sure why i didn't put that in the review. But then both games just flawless so it'd probably be unfair to highlight any one point of it.
