No one cried when this game was only on ps3... just sayin

Berserk2234d ago

This game never was only on ps3... It came out for both the ps3 and 360.

ezcex2234d ago

I think he meant when when Demon's Souls was out for PS3.

Berserk2234d ago

Then thats what he should have said.

karl2234d ago

the change the name..

i think we all understood that already

Rage_S902234d ago (Edited 2234d ago )

WOW Your argument is so stupid do you even know what this is about? It's to do with Dark Souls not having dedicated servers, way to turn this into a console thing though.

Edit: So what does that have to do with it being on xbox?

FredEffinChopin2234d ago

Actually you're the one who doesn't understand it. The game is working the way it's supposed to, newcomers just don't get it yet.

BABY-JEDI2234d ago

yes they did, but only to themselves LoL ; )

cheeto1012234d ago

Demons Souls online was a million times better. Hosted server>>>>>p2p.

DaCajun2234d ago

I would have to say Namco Bandai sucks as a publisher. Atlus did a much better job as the NA publisher and they didn't screw us out of an actual physical mini guide like Namco just did with Dark Souls, plus the servers were better with Atlus. Still love this game but picking the right publisher for your game makes all the difference and this time From Software didn't make the right choice.

frjoethesecond2234d ago

Namco Bandai Published demon's souls in the EU and it was mostly identical to the other ones.

Typical-Guy2234d ago

Good thing I skipped it for now, will pick it up later.

I was gonna pick it up on X360 but after I heard about the party system isn't working, I changed my mind.

DaCajun2234d ago (Edited 2234d ago )

It is disabled on purpose so you can experience the game that way, with having someone enter your game randomly. You get the sense of companionship but also the sense of being on the quest alone. So They had it disabled on purpose, it is not broken. If you need to constantly be talking to someone because you are scare to do things alone then this is not a game for you. I swear people can't even go use the restroom alone anymore without being on a phone or talking to someone else. Come on people somethings in this world are just meant to be done completely alone.

iWishTifaWasReal2234d ago

ehh?
but playing with friends is still fun. and i want to PvP with my friends as well. just like in Demons souls.

FredEffinChopin2234d ago (Edited 2234d ago )

The party system works fine, it's just very unconventional and people don't understand it. Demon's/Dark Souls aren't the kind of games where they want you to team up with your buddies. Check that shit at the door, save it for COD.

*edit*
Seriously, if your buying this game hinged on teaming up with buddies, this game was never for you to begin with.

BABY-JEDI2234d ago

some people just dont get the point....

Typical-Guy2234d ago

What's with all the disagrees ?! I've played Demon's Souls on PS3 I know what this game is. But after you beat the game it gets boring going through that alone that's what I had in mind when deciding on the X360 version.

pedo_across-the-road2234d ago

Namco Bandai should just buy From Software, they sound very interested in armored core and dark souls.

McSpermie2234d ago

Holy crap I hope you're not serious. Namco is a joke, and From Software is making more money than ever before. They are not exactly in the position to be bought out. Especially by Namco.

Lirky2234d ago

Atlus should purchase From Software since Atlus are very well qualitied than Namco Bandai in terms of a unique Rpg.

MeatAbstract2234d ago

I think Namco have published Dark Souls so they could release it world wide. Atlus wouldn't be able to publish the game in Europe and after Demon's Souls went through a few different ones (Namco did the Demon's Souls release in Europe) they handled Dark Souls.

The online works fine, but because there are so many different servers and you go in a random one each time you log in, I can see how it can be frustrating if you wanna play with friends.

Personally its fine for me since non of my friends play this game.
