Sega’s Aaron Weber comments on the voice-acting options, the amount of cut content in the western version, DLC possibility and more for the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive game, Yakuza: Dead Souls.
... hopefully not much content is cut. I'm glad they learned from earlier mistakes, and I wish other developers would do the same.
While I wish they wouldn't cut anything from the game for an English localization, the fact that they have learned from their previous cutting board adventures and are only taking out minor content is good to hear. I can't wait to play this with my buddies, looks like a solid zombie game set in the Yakuza universe.
wel they have to cut some thing since there are parts that are impossible to translate ... In Y4 we had thoses cuts and taht was less than a percent of the game .. Expect the same here..
Wait. Wasn't Y4 cuts the hostess club? Or was that Y3.... I don't quite remember lol. Either way, I trust Sega in their decision on what to cut, and I know the game will be awesome when it launches.
Y3 was the one that cut the hottest club and some other side quest like the couple Kazuma has always been encountering since Y1. I believe Y4 had everything intact since the guide I used online was a Japanese wiki one and I did not seem to miss any side quest. The hottest club was there along with the new apprentice training side quest. Even the Kappa quest was there too.
Y4 cut ANSwer X answer ..and Y: dead soul will have the same cut as well
Yeah I don't think you can have things like that localized. Wasn't the AxA a image type mini game? And I think one song was also not included due to licensing.
they probably cut the same thing in Y4, that answer x answer quiz arcade game
I am SO getting this game. The fact that they kept Akiyama (my personal fave character from the 4th game), making Ryuuji Gohda from the 2nd game a main character (my fave villian in the series) and making Majima Gogo a main character are HUGE reasons to get this game! Not to mention that wonderful Yakuza pedigree I've come to expect. Good things in March 2012. :)
Collector's edition... make that available for North America, damnit!
