In-depth Review: RAGE - Electronic Theatre

As is becoming a very common trend with the current-generation software, RAGE plays as a FPS with light role-playing game (RPG) elements. It’s more FPS than Borderlands and less RPG than Fallout 3, but it’s also a bigger world than both. In that respect, it’s also a more believable world than both, and not just because it outclasses them visually in every respect. Players will obtain new equipment and weaponry by completing missions given to them by non-player characters (NPCs) in the world, as well as finding them while attempting to complete those same missions.

This is a great review, honest for once. I've read a lot
of mixed reviews on RAGE, people complaining that
the graphics are horrible, AI is dumb etc. Um, sorry but
you people are not gamers. Im running it on an I7 system,
8GB, good video card. No issues whatsoever: I'm playing
it on nightmare and am soaking in the world they
created.

I am looking forward to IDs Doom 4 and Rage 2. John and
co deserve major credit as well as beer. I'm saddened
that some people call themselves gamers and bash this
game giving it a 6 or 7 out of 10. Seriously people?
This game has a lot of imagination and plus it's by
ID, some people just need to stop expecting perfection
and take it for what it is. A brillant game.

This game is easily a 9- 9.5/10. Thank you.

Ben
