PSLS: The PlayStation Move controller retails for $49.99 brand new, but right now there’s a deal going on that can save you 50% off the total price.
Bought a second one. Thanks!
WOW! WOW! WOW!
Dammit. Amazon.com won't ship to Canada, and Amazon.ca still has it at $42. Figures. Anyone seen them for $25 in Canada?
That reminds me, I should start using mine.
same i just bought my second one, too good of a deal to not bite.
But surely building up a decent enough library
Gamestop did this a week ago for the month of September. I bought my whole Move set last month with a great deal of games.
fry's electronics, amazon.com and kmart has recently done this in addition to the firesale gamestop had too. All half off.
I got an extra move controller, nav controller, the fight, and a sharp shooter for $70 at gamestop and $50 for the move bundle with sports champions at a local game shop last month, it was worth it. I didn't think I would get the move with the high prices but for half off I couldn't resist.
Same for me. I was never going to get it, if the prices were still the same when I first bought mine. That is not to say there weren't a few games that were out and coming out that I didn't want. There are still 2 games so far that still hold my interest. The temparory price drop just secured a sale from me for both games.
That's about $19 too high.
i lol, on that one!!! "thanks i needed the laugh too!" (hard times)
I bought a Move starter bundle and navigation controller for half-off at Walmart last weekend. The LittleBigPlanet 2 move pack enticed me and the sale price pushed me over the edge. Enjoying it so far, though I'm not sure if I'll use it much outside of LBP2.
You should try to have a go of Killzone with a Sharpshooter. Maybe its not for everyone, it has a learning curve, but I think it the best way you can play a shooter. It better than a control pad, more immersive than a keyboard and mouse. Its even better than arcade games like Time Crisis and Virtua Cop because its a real shooter, not on rails. Theres something extremely satisfying about keeping steady, holding your breath, and squeezing one round off to get that long distance headshot. I liken it to a racing game with a good wheel. Sure you can play with a pad, but once youve tried a G25, why would you? PS Havent loaded the patch to try Resistance 3 yet. Also would like to give SOCOM a go.
Killzone w/ the new wireless headset 7.1 surround sound + sharpshooter = total immersion.
I was pretty disappointed with the move patch tbh. I mean it's much better than before but using scoped weapons is awkward as hell now. you'll see what I mean when you try it. I have no idea why they didn't just take away the crossair when looking through a scope because now it's incredibly distracting.
I dont mind the crosshair, its not like you can aim down the iron(plastic)sights of the SS. Its not a lightgun. I just want the turning speed to match the From the hip speed. EDIT Oh, scoped not sights, I see what you mean. Yeah, that could be a problem. 1.05 maybe. C'mon Insomniac, get it together.
I was actually thinking about picking up a shooter to play, but I regret not buying the sharpshooter when I did. Kmart had 50% off all PSmove starter bundles, controllers and accessories. They were completely sold out, I had to make a late night trip to Walmart after finding out they'd match the price. I could have picked up a sharpshooter for $20. I might wait for the right deal to come along sometime this holiday.
Why no Move support for Crysis? Sony should really be pushing for every shooter to use it, it cant be that hard to implement. PS JBHiFi in Australia have a good deal. Move starter pack, Nav, Sharpshooter and Resistance 3 for $219.
It's multiplatform, and Crysis doesn't do Kinect either.
Is there a law that says a 3rd party cant put a little extra effort into a PS3 game? Oh yeah, thats right, there is. And whose talking about Kinect? Kinect wouldnt work, Move would.
Golden Eye for PS3 supports it so 3rd parties are putting effort into it...
I want a second one for THE FIGHT.
And yes two moves make a world of difference in The Fight. Get a pretty good workout and a great way to vent/blow off steam. At that price you can't go worng.
Well, if I used the one I have at all, I'd probably jump right on this... but sadly I don't, so I'll pass.
