Assassin’s Creed Needs to Be More Difficult

Kotaku - I've been revisiting Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in anticipation of the soon-to-be-released fourth game in the series, Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I started a new game, and within an hour or so protagonist Ezio Auditore was effortlessly laying waste to dozens upon dozens of enemies—guys on horseback, heavily armored pikemen, and scores of sword-wielding Roman guards.

The story is too old to be commented.

Oh my god THIS. I have been saying this forever, the AC series is such a bore with the automatic climbing and I almost never died through any of them.

The AC series isent a bore wtf did you do stay on the levels when you played as ezio before he got the suit? The main thing about the series is that it makes you feel like a badass master assassin and it accomplishes that. Yes i agree that it is easy and yes the AI needs to be improved with a new system that makes the fighting more realistic.

If you want hard gameplay, go and play Dark Souls. Fans of this series play the games for the intricate and engrossing story, amazing scenery and fun exploration and stealth.

Sure I would like the combat to be pretty much the same as Arkham City, but its only a small issue, which doesnt distract from the expansive game the AC games are.

No it doesn't, it needs difficulty settings and better enemy AI.

I agree, for a series veteran, each new enry is a walk in the park. And Ezio is now more dangerous than Rambo and terminator combined because of his new gadgets.
