If you can plow through the initial set-up, there’s actually a nice narrative to be found here. Fans who have already immersed themselves into the wasteland of RAGE will find some nice details that help flesh out the in-game story. Those who’ve not yet gotten the game (read: me) will find an introduction and hook into wanting to play the game. To be honest, if RAGE wasn’t on your “I want to play list” at all, the book may not grab you as it intended.
It’s a light, breezy read that is perfect for lazy afternoons or train commutes to and from work.
