Reviewing Rage – A question of iDentity

The Reticule says: This was originally intended to be a disclaimer at the beginning of my Rage review, but it spiralled out of control and now takes the form of an editorial about journalistic objectivity and the relationship gamers have with developers, (Doom, Doom 3, iD Software, Industry, PC, PS3, Quake 3, Rage, Xbox 360)

Very valid points about iD having to walk the narrow line between catering for the console generation while also giving the Doom generation something to feel is their own.
