I’ve killed poor Isaac more times than I would care to admit yet I still venture forward, each time getting a little better than the last. This is the appeal of a roguelike style of game which The Binding of Isaac is rooted within. When you die in this game, you lose all your progress and upgrades, no carrying over from game to game. This might be a turn off for some but others venturing through the harsh difficulty will be met with an amazing game that I am deeply invested in and cannot quit playing."
