Record sales growth for Codemasters

Stunning US performance sees Britsoft outfit enjoy its most successful ever year. Spearheaded by a 151 per cent increase in US net sales and a 332 per cent growth in US dollar sales, Codemasters is celebrating its most impressive ever year for the 12 months ending June 30th 2007.

verall group sales for the period increased by 38 per cent, hitting £71.5 million. Big gaming successes such as Colin McRae: Dirt and Overlord saw the firm boost its operating profits from £1.1 million in 2006 to £5.6 million. Other top performers included Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 and The Lord of the Rings: Shadows of Angmar.

Well done Codies! Nice to see a Brit company doing well under this Government's indifference to the gaming industry!

I went to their HQ about 8 years or so ago for a job interview... Didn't get the job, but it seemed like a really nice place to work!!

Now, when are we getting a next-gen version of Dizzy???
