[RaceSimCentral] Fanatec announced its official partnership with BMW at the 25th anniversary festival of the BMW factory in Regensburg. Fanatec also announced another replaceable rim to the Clubsport Wheel. In addition to the Formula One rim, players can now opt for a BMW M3 GT2 rim.
The year is 1998, one year after Fanatec-branding gaming products have hit the shops, and the company produces the Le Mans – setting the template for premium sim racing peripherals.
The deal sees Fanatec sim racing equipment used by Veloce Esports and the Veloce network as an official supplier.
After announcing a partnership between itself and the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team, Fanatec has revealed the Podium Button Module Rally for video game sim rally fans. The new rally-focussed sim rally wheel peripheral was used to win the Monte Carlo Rally last month.
