Video Game Writers: Back in 2003, Ubisoft released a quirky action-adventure game (aren’t they all “quirky?”) for GameCube, PS2 and Xbox called Beyond Good & Evil. The game was an amazing amalgam of puzzle-solving, stealth and contained a smart story and memorable characters. Unfortunately it suffered the same fate as most hard-to-describe action-adventure titles (see: Psychonauts) and sales weren’t great. Which is business speak for saying it instantly developed an avid cult following. In 2008, Ubisoft confirmed they would be making a sequel … and here we are 3 years later.
