Gaming-Age.com Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD review

Code Veronica X also has a reputation for being one of the toughest games in the series, and I think that still holds up. The game can be damn hard, and it's pretty unforgiving with its limited number of inventory slots, especially considering how many key items you need to collect throughout the game that can take up a slot or two. Also, if you prefer to use strong weapons, like a pair of handguns found early on, you'll be sacrificing a lot of space. One single upgrade for inventory for each character doesn't make a huge difference, and the small number of save rooms found throughout can be a bit maddening. Going back to the old-school typewriter and ink ribbon combo to save your game was more aggravating than I remember in the classic trilogy, even though I'm sure it's just as annoying there as it is here.
