BioWare on Jade Empire Comeback

Eurogamer: Jade Empire may return - BioWare is "just looking for the right way to deploy it".

That's what BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk told a packed audience at the Eurogaer Expo 2011 today. (BioWare, Dev, Jade Empire)

Don't tease Bioware. That was one of the original Xbox's finest games. Completely underrated imo.

Agreed, it's like the original Xbox's Heavenly Sword...I LOVED IT!

dont you pull our legs there Bioware!

No sir. Nothing like HS. HS was a short action game. JE was an action RPG of credible size, great charaters and story. It was the first of BW's RPG's where the playable characters interact heavily with each other. There was a lot of chatter between them and misplaced trust and mistrust.

I have no idea why this game will make you thing of Heavely Sword.

@zeal0us: With EA now owning Bioware, you will not be seeing any 360 exclusives from them as long as that contract remain intact.

I meant in it's like that rare treasure that came out for the system, but never had a sequel. Something that many fans have always wanted another one, but never got it. A gem if you will.

It's available on Xbox Live for whoever missed it

didn't it get like near perfect scores from reviewers? Not exactly underrated. I bought an Xbox for Jade Empire and beat it 7 times, its one of my all time favorites and a second one would really be amazing.

Shame the review scores didn't equal commercial success. That's why I say underrated, cause it was. Glad you liked it as much as I and yes, a second one would definitely be amazing!

So would it be 360 exclusive or will they pull a ME2 on us?
sarshelyam  +   1256d ago
If they were smart, they'd make it available to as many whom would want it.
ReservoirDog316  +   1256d ago
Probably pull a ME2. Or more accurately, ME3 since it'll probably come out on the same day for all consoles.

And, missed out on jade empire. Always wanted to get it since I loved KOTOR but it just never happened. I'm sure a comeback would be really good though.

One of my favorite Xbox exclusives. Played through twice, once evil and good.

Very underrated and under-appreciated.

Just got Jade Empire on Steam the other day.
