Dead Island Review (Game Breakers)

Too much hype can be a bad thing. It’s one of the basic rules of marketing, whether it’s a breakfast cereal or a Hollywood travesty – if the product doesn’t match up to the promotion, it’s going to fall on its face quicker than a fat kid pogo-sticking across an ice rink (I’m looking at you, Star Wars: Episode One…). Dead Island, the open world RPG developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver, will always be remembered as one of the greatest examples of this in video game history.
