GameDaily: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus Review

If you are not a fan of multiplayer games, stop right here. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus is not for you. While last year's Portable Ops featured a fairly substantial single player component, Plus drops that in favor of focusing squarely on multiplayer deathmatches. What you can do by yourself is recruit new "members" into your team, as well as snagging new gear and upgrades, so that when you go online you'll have a better chance of survival. As such, the single player missions lack depth and are merely a means to an end. With new characters, maps and modes, along with the ability to play against players who still play the original, there is plenty to enjoy assuming you like the first game. (Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus, PSP) 7/10
