Rein "blown away" by Swordfish Studios' UE3 new game

Epic VP Mark Rein has gushed over Brian Lara dev Swordfish's new Unreal Engine 3 game, in an interview with CVG. There's no solid word on what Swordfish might be working on that's tickling Rein's fancy so much, but if it's a new Brian Lara cricket effort, it must be an amazing one.

You can read the entire chat, wherein Rein dabbles on Unreal Tournament III and lots of engine discussion, shortly on CVG.

Neither of the three entities make exclusive games for PS3. BTW, Vivendi also owns Universal Studios, which supports HD DVD.

What did we just hear they would bring us?

GHOSTBUSTERS MAYBE???

Ghostbusters = running on Unreal 3.

Damn considering the crap that's been churned out using the engine, for Mark to be excited has me excited by proxy. Just please don't be another FPS, or if it has to be PLEASE be innovative.

Prismo_Fillusion3626d ago

Of course it's an FPS. I'd stake my life on it. (Maybe not literally)

Agreed. Epic (the company Rein works for) built the UE3 so people should view his comments of this UE3 game with at least some skepticism.

Can you say 'vested interest'?
