GameZebo: Madfinger Games had promised that their upcoming console-quality action game Shadowgun would be arriving this September, but with the halfway point of the month quickly creeping up and nary a peep from the studio, we were starting to wonder if it might just slip past its original target date. As it turns out, Shadowgun will still see the light of day before the end of September, but just barely – the game will be hitting the iOS App Store September 28th.

The most successful first-person shooter franchise of all time is the Call of Duty series, but, aside from a few low-effort titles, it doesn’t have nearly as big of a presence on the mobile front. That’s where the Modern Combat series comes in, often considered the best first-person shooters available for mobile devices. This series is the mobile equivalent of Call of Duty and even surpasses it in some ways.
