I don't know if this makes sense, but the realism has been my biggest obstacle to getting into GT games. I guess sometimes I like to pretend I'm a really good driver, and GT doesn't deliver that at all.
Learning to drive is not my idea of fun, so a clutch would only hurt me here. Having said that, it would be a great, logical addition to GT, albeit one that I would have no appreciation for.
You can always use assists to help you drive better, also once you learn how to tweak and customize your car (Suspension, LSD, torque split), you'll definitely enjoy the GT games better, right now I'm stuck in the Expert Challenge of the Seasonal Events, I'm trying to push as hard as I can with my Subaru WRX, I'm at +2" to win and I'm not the best GT driver, not even close to the maniacs at gtplanet :P
I don't get this article... Does he mean add clutch support for the Dualshock or implementing that feature into the game in the first place? The game already supports the clutch pedal. It works amazingly well on my G27 wheel. If you don't do it right, you end up not changing gears at all. If you do it horribly wrong, you won't stall, but you will simply be stuck in neutral. I hope the writer is aware of this.
