Giantbomb: Dead Island Review

Giantbomb writes: "Technical blemishes aside, you might be surprised how well loot-driven open-world questing and a tropical zombie apocalypse go together." (Dead Island, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 4/5

I'd say "blemishes" is pretty light language for the bugs I'm running into with the PS3 version. I lost another hour of progress today, along with another upgraded weapon and about 25k in cash. That was because I had to spend about that much money to upgrade a good quality rifle, then it literally was gone from my inventory when I stepped away from the workbench so I never got to use it. I've lost about 12 hours of progress in total I think, and had good weapons vanish into thin air 6 or 7 times. On the bright side, my truck didn't vanish out from under me all day today.

My experience with this game has been awesome! Lots of the bugs I havent stumbled across in my 15+ hours (except it froze twice). I waited tooo long for this game to be disappointed... and I wasnt!
