Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is a dramatic departure from its predecessor, but its differences planted the seeds for the future of the series. More games should be so bold.
It'll probably be tougher to do today because the expectations to turn a AAA game into a franchise are much greater than in the 80s.
I'm trying so hard to get into Zelda 2, but it's soooo weirdddd.
Finally...someone agrees with me! I couldn't get into it either, but a lot of my friends loved it. I don't get it.
I keep meaning to play through it with as many maps as I require, but it's just not happening.
One of my favorite Zelda's of all time. SO much better than the original and most of the adventures.
I confess never having played this. My first Zelda game was A Link to the Past.
Same this was a bit before my time. I was born in 1990
By no means a bad game. Great story, RPG elements, and EXTREMEY challenging.
IMO, just as good as the original, but nowhere near as good as A Link to the Past.
so far i played most zelda games except one of the oracles...i have the collection disc on Gamecube and it contains zelda 1,2 ocarina and majora's. I used to own the GBA...i own the zelda on the snes on the wii and i have wind waker and twilight princess will be buyin skyward sword...oh yeah i havent played spirit tracks also
Zelda II is the only Zelda game that I haven't beating. It's just crazy hard and death mountain is confusing to navigate, but I shall one day conquer this game. Perhaps if I play some montage music I will over come the games difficulty and prevail.
I thought Zelda 2 was great. My only complaint was the end boss. Not epic and made no sense.
