IGN: Check out how Ghost Recon: Future Soldier uses Kinect to navigate and assemble an arsenal of gun parts.
I just think this is soo bad @ss! Now add voice control, lean and so on in the game.
I'm there with you on that one droid. When I saw this at E3 I was really pumped. This is a really cool feature that I can't wait to try out.
Looks cool, but I don't think they added on feature is enough to warrant a Kinect purchase, at least not for me. And seriously, is it that hard to get rid of the lag? And Honest question, wouldn't this be much, much faster and less tedious with a regular controller?
***And seriously, is it that hard to get rid of the lag?*** This is the first commercially available motion capture system to the public for a mere $150. It is already leaps and bounds beyond what is in the market already! So yes, lag is very hard to get rid of. In fact, it was so hard a problem MS top researchers didn't think they could do it. This technology is like magic. ***And Honest question, wouldn't this be much, much faster and less tedious with a regular controller?*** Depends on what part of it. That said, some things are more immersive, after all we can just have games play themselves with a quick button. It's definitely much faster!
Is this game ever going to come out? It seems like every year it gets pushed backed to avoid competition from all the big shooters that release before the holiday and then in spring it gets pushed back again. It's like they're not sure what direction to take the game and what audience to cater to. Just keep it more like the old GR and don't worry about trying to win over fans from BF or COD
Have you seen the latest footage? It looks really good and unique. More development time used well is a good thing. I want a polished gem.
This was the only Kinect feature i liked in E3. I still htink the novelty would wear of easily though.
Looks like a sweet feature for the game. I just hope it's super polished by launch.
Sweet. I'll be using gunsmith using my controller. Easier, faster, and less unneeded movement. :-)
The game looks good and is probably better now that they delayed and changed it, but I miss the blue-ish graphical tint that the old version had.
I remember the e3 kinect gunsmith demo it looked pretty good
