So I’m playing L.A. Noire and when I play games of this nature I try to play as realistic as possible. One of those ways includes strangely enough, obeying the laws of the land (Go figure). Meaning I do not run over people with my vehicle and I don’t run red lights!
Before you judge me let me give you a little background.
There was a lot to love about Rockstar and Team Bondi's 2011 open world title.
One I never finished. I've been looking at the ps4 version off Amazon the last few months just never bit
I picked it up on sale recently, going to play it next summer. I'll get more out of it this time, first time around I treated the open world like it was GTA and goofed about, whereas now I'll play it with more respect. RDR2 has trained me well.
I also hadn't read Raymond Chandler at the time so presumably that'll add another layer of enjoyment too.
Absolutely stunning game. So underrated. Played through it again last year and it still stands up so well. Like many of rockstars games it’s actually a far better experience on PC. I didn’t enjoy it as much on console. Completed it at least 3 times on pc.
The rumours of a sequel are awesome news despite the fact I think Rockstar are now the shell of the company they once were.
As we have all been graced by the release of Grand Theft Auto 6's trailer, we're ranking the best and worst GTA trailers to date.
We be getting these posts All week now lads. Someone noticed a number plate ... Someone noticed a billboard... I can see it now
Just go on YouTube and watch one of the many videos dissecting the whole 1minite 30secs worth.
This site supposed to be for news.
These updates on N4G are going to ruin whats rest of this site. Unfortunate since I was one of the first members.. The site shows unsecure when i login as well.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is an important game for Rockstar, not least because it was the first title in the franchise to use the newly created RAGE engine.
When I play games, I don't apply the same rules as I do in my daily life. I do not stop at red lights unless it ends the game.
I usually drive around in GTA like I would in real life, but after a bit, i just get to my location in a hurry.
With LA NOIRE I drive super slow so I can get 5 Star ratings, I try not to ever hit anything.
On the same note, when I played Tony Hawk Proskater, I started turning off specials and infinites, and turned my stats way low so I actulaly looked like a real skater and not some fantasy rider. I ofund the game to be most fun like that, especially in THPS4 in freeskate.
I drive like a psycho in GTA. I drive off high places to get to the destination faster, and if the car breaks I take a new one.
Lol, I stop at red lights too sometimes. And I also drive like a psycho in GTA but to get to the destination faster, I always take a cab. Same thing in L.A. Noire, I always make my partner drive. XD lazy me.
Usually in sandbox games, I don't stop at red lights and go pretty fast but I try to keep my car clean.
