Gameplay 6.8 Really?
Literally unforgivable. This is a ridiculous score.
8/10 is not a bad score at all, nor is it ridiculous. Every game doesn't need a 9 or 10 to be good. Not to mention the game is nearly 10 years old. For its time it was a 9-10 game, nearly 10 years later with no actual gameplay changes or control tweaks, it's still an 8/10. That's pretty impressive if you ask me.
I dont mind the score! I played the originals and still own SoC. I know they are better games than what GT scores them. But the same hideous trend continues with GT reviews in showing massive story spoilers. If a person hasnt played those games, they will know an eventfull thing that will happen by seing this review. Samething with every game GT reviews. Man! I wish I could punch these guys in the face. Why dont they show footage of the game´s first 2 hours and stay there. Its like they are doing it on purpose.
I'm sure the controls have aged, but shouldn't that be expected? They're damn near 10yrs old.
I only played the games for the first time about a year ago and, honestly, not even being blinded by nostalgia, the controls hold up perfectly fine.
I have missed the first release. I will not miss this one, neither should you :)
i hope this doesn't get overlooked because of other bigger releases.
This is a Colssus of a release though!
