A Deus Ex and Metal Gear cross over in route ?

For the launch of Deus Ex : Human Revolution in Paris, David Anfossi (Chief producer of the game) met Final Fantasy Dream.
It was the moment to talk about a cross over with Metal Gear.

FINAL FANTASY DREAM: Last question, when we saw Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the first time [...]I thought to Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots, more I saw that you had worked on Splinter Cell. Are you interested to working with Hideo Kojima on an episode Cross Over between these two worlds that are Metal Gear Solid and Deus Ex ?
David Anfossi: It's hard, but if it can match the experience Deus Ex, it would be a great pleasure. I was lucky to meet Hideo Kojima, to play the game last year at the GDC (Game Developer Conference), but we didn't really have time to talk a lot. We're fans of his work, it appears in game mechanics, especially in the stealth mode, but also in terms of visual and increases. It is a true inspiration to us. If this can be a common project, it would be a great honor. (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid Series, Next-Gen, PC, PS3, Square Enix, Xbox 360)

I would buy a game featuring both of them teaming up.
Adam can give snake some implants so he does not feel like a old man.

Metal Gear Solid and Deus Ex:Human Revolution are perfect for a crossover. They are so similar, both thematically and in terms of gameplay, that a crossover would make perfect sense...And be a dream to play.

Story is similar too. Illuminati/Patriots looking to use technology to control people.

No thanks. Each universe is too original to go watering it down by mixing it up.

I'm working on the Foxiest of the Hounds trophy and I didn't notice the obvious reference to MGS, but somehow got the 3 seashells thing right away.....

I'd love to see a crossover. Snake punching through walls and Jensen hiding in cardboard boxes....would be awesome.

The Foxiest of the hounds is a brilliant nod to MGS.

Changing the subject a little the game is also fantastic at referencing the original. People whistling the originals theme in Detroit and my favourite being one of the papers talking about the formation of UNATCO.

Not to mention the Robocop and Star Trek references. I love it all.

Missed the Robocop and Star Trek reference but it's not surprising considering how many pop culture references are in the game.

Is it me, or is there a bit of Minority Report going on in this game, namely, the P.E.P.S gun and vehicles?

3 seashells? that sounds familiar..

Demolition Man with Stalone and Wesley Snipes. Stalone has to take a crap, but when he tries to whipe, he finds out that in the future, all toilet tissue has been replaced with 3 seashells..lol

Found that one in a random apartment I was burglarizing...

oh man that´s an awesome reference thanks for telling.

If you talk your way into the cop shop there are two cops having a conversation about an old film set in a future Detroit about a cop that almost gets killed but is made into a robot.

The Star Trek reference occurs if you do the first mission non lethally. I spoke to one of the Sarif guards and he asked if I had a secret Vulcan Neck pinch.
