Media Badge Stories: Xbox Unleashed (Nov. 2001)

Gamertag Radio writes: "I’ve been attending video game events for years now, and I recently found my collection of media badges from 2000 until present. It inspired my new series of editorials, called “Media Badge Stories.” You’ll get to read some behind the scenes stories from past events. Today, we go back 10 years: the first time Microsoft showed their new gaming console, Xbox, to the public." (Bill Gates, Culture, GameCube, Industry, J Allard, Microsoft, Nintendo, Tag Invalid, Xbox)

The xbox was technically more powerful then all of its competitors it had a built in hard drive it was imo the most reliable console of the three and it could play your dvds without scratching them not to mention it had live microsoft once cared about sheer power and the love of gaming they did a great job with the xbox looking back its hard to seee what they could have done better

EDIT halo 2 had an attach rate of 40% i don't think cod can even do that
