Gameinformer Dead Island Review

Like a garbage disposal with a severed arm shoved down it, the video game market is clogged with zombie games. New games featuring the walking dead have trouble standing out from the horde, but Techland’s first-person, open-world, action/RPG entry Dead Island distinguishes itself (Dead Island, PC, PS3, Techland, Xbox 360) 85/100

Nice to hear that Game Informer liked it. They are one of the sites/magazines I trust the most when it comes to reviews.

Eh after watching about 20 minutes of it I felt it'd get about 7s to 8s from reviewers. Looks like a game with potential that is perhaps lacking a bit of polish.
