Probably because when I see a wallet, it hasn't offered me something and then not followed through with it. And when I go to buy a car, I'm actually allowed to inspect it before buying. Games? Most games don't have betas, or even a demo. People feel cheated, so they pirate a game, if they like it they buy it. Of course you will have the petty leeches though who won't go out and buy the game, but that's as if saying there is no thievery in the world whatsoever.

This is also heavily proven by the people who do actually support games who have followed through repeatedly. If I go to a site and see someone talking about pirating BF3, a lot of gamers will question as to why you would need to pirate a game that we all know will be a quality buy.

Approved for good topic.
