World of Warcraft: Wolfheart eAudio Soon

Fans of the MMO, will be treated with the upcoming World of Warcraft: Wolfheart novel tie-in.

The novel fleshing out King Varian Wrynn and his interaction with King Genn Greymane will be available as a hardcover and in eBook format.

In addition, as revealed during SDCC 2011, World of Warcraft: Wolfheart is coming out as a Unabridged eAudio spiced up with special effects and in-game sounds by Blizzard Entertainment's audio department.

From the looks of the unofficial book description, this novel will also mark the return of Warden Maiev Shadowsong, last seen alongside Akama at the Black Temple dungeon in Outland during the final battle against Illidan Stormrage.

This novel has a lot of potential with three important Alliance figures. Stormrage and Tyrande also appear, giving Maiev her mission. Interesting how Tyrande pushed aside her hatred for Maiev after Maiev basically let her to die in Warcraft III (Silverpine Forest), and lied to Malfurion saying she had died, so he wouldn't go to her rescue.

On the other side, wouldn't Malfurion be pissed off Maiev was who helped kill his twin brother Illidan? Yet they entrust her a critical mission at Darnassus? I really want to read this novel.

The eAudio book with special effects by Blizzard is a very very very nice touch. I'm sure many will love to get ahold of that one. There have been a few Warcraft audiobooks, but I think it's the first time Blizzard gets involved in something this epic.
