tis the season...for everything to be political.

"indicates that political beliefs weigh heavily on the types of entertainment a person consumes."

i think they need to reexamine the distinctions between correlation and cause-effect.

So I fall under the category that only plays Mario. I play a few Mario games like Super Smash bros but that is about it. I really am not a platform gamer. Also its not like platform games are bad just I not my tastes. But it is not to bad Mario is one of the biggest franchise out there. I prefer games like RTS,Shooters,RPG and even Action/Adventure games. Great now what am I going to do with my great collection of awesome games. I guess I will still play them. This does nothing for me.

But it is nice to see what people play none the less.

This poll doesn't really say much. if you take the margin of error to the extremes, then the split is pretty much even for conservatives and liberals. It's good to know that gaming cuts across all ideologies. Conservative or liberal, it doesn't matter, games are fun.

I think they kind of have it backwards. People don't game because they are conservative or liberal. Most gamers are relatively young and young people tend to lean left politically.

If you're not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you're not a conservative at forty you have no brain. - Winston Churchill
