I never understood why Halo gets a M rating. There are games with way more killing and violence that get a T rating. I guess in the end it should get the same rating as before though.

thats true but remember 2001 the esrb had different guidelines for rating games, yeah there was color vibrant blood but because you could color a room with it mean it was "gory".

but yeah i always wondered the same thing when i was a kid and i had to get my brother to buy me the game because my mom actually followed the esrb up until i got halo lol

Same here... I wanna see some GoW gore style in Halo... LET'S GET BLOODY..oh wait yeah then kids in US won't be able to buy it in stores without their mother knowing they stole the money from their purse! Bah just get fake ID?

I remember when I used to play, I would just keep hitting a dead elite, and the blood would just keep coming and splatter all over the floor.

i think also if u keep shooting at it the screen would get all blurry for a second
