Are PC game prices on the rise?

Activision started it with MW2, then EA jumped on board. Now Bethesda and Ubisoft (I think) are getting in on the action.

@chak - Check Steam. All those games are $59.99.

Ouch still £10 cheaper for everything in uk.


Only BF3 is worth more than those other games because it is taking advantage of PC's unlimited power.

Not true, all PC games should be cheaper because devs don't have to pay a license fee to release a game.

Retailers are clearly being greedy.


Sorry I was not stating a fact or anything just an opinion. But if they are putting more resources on one plattform I think it its fair to take the same fees from that one like from the lesser ones. What i mean is that 64 players and expanded maps is worth a little more money.

PC game prices drop very quickly.

Portal 2 is $30 now, 3 months after release.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood was $20 during the steam summer sale.
