Curiosity pays off in Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Augmentations aside, choice might be your strongest ally in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The story is too old to be commented.

I love that you can play this like a Splinter Cell, a Halo, an RPG...so flexible.

Halo? wtf, its more like Splinter Cell meets MGS meets Mass Effect, NOTHIN Halo bout Deus Ex!

Rainbow 6 Vegas imo instead of Halo. With Splinter cell. Anyway, it's not copying any of those games, it's more like Deus Ex 1 than anything.

I'm in love with this game. Sure it has flaws but it is such a unique experience. You don't play many games like this and it is a breath of fresh air. I didn't believe that the team behind it would be able to pull it off but they did and I'm quite overwhelmed with the game. It certainly has done the series justice.

I've spent about 7 hours playing so far - and have only completed the first mission! Since I was let out in to the Detroit hub, I have spent hours rifling through random apartments (only to find I have to go back later for a side mission - I really like that the game hadn't closed them off to me before I'd spoken to the correct NPC to start the side mission)and sneaking my way in to hostile areas to methodically and silently takedown every guard, so that when I had to go back later as part of a mission I could just stroll in without a care in the world! Awesome game that doesn't punish you for taking a break from stealth by murdering some gang-bangers, or for doing things in the 'wrong' order. Loving it. :)

Just got my copy.

Brb....;)

It only feels like MGS if you choose to play like Solid Snake. To me Deus Ex HR feels more like Mass Effect 2, with touches of Dead Space.
