Got this on steam the other day. Amazing game!

The only thing is; it kind of made me thing of what the next-gen of gaming will be capable of. When you go to the Shanghai it is so well designed but you don't have enough NPCs wandering around to give it the feel of a vibrant city. I know this is due to technical limitations but imagine the whole city bustling with life and you navigating through crowds. The future is going to be amazing :)

The A.I is a bet of a letdown but the developers acknowledged that. It is decidedly last-gen.

The game is brilliant though. A definite must buy!

totally agree with you. we were kind of discussing this whole city feel in another thread. You can just imagine what it will be like when they have enough power to really put a lot of people on the streets and give all of them some good AI to be going about doing their own thing, like with GTA4 or ESO.

it is a great game regardless, on my second play through and already I am doing so much better.

Second play through already??! Bloody hell man. I'm going to take my time with this, scouring every corner for Praxis kits!

Imagine the scale you mentioned, a world like Deux Ex and REAL players navigating it- ala MMO Deus Ex. Now that would be brilliant too. It would solve the problem of undertaking the herculean task of programming for extensive A.I.

Also, make vulnerability an issue for e.g, imagine if someone sets up a bomb in a market where you are 'questing' or just navigating- to replicate the sense of fear and panic you need to make sure death and your character's stats actually mean something. That way, you build an authentic world where actions really do have consequences. I'm blabbing on a bit but this is what I always imagine.

I can't wait for the future.

I spent about 2 hours yesterday just sneaking around in the police station in the vents, silently taking out the cops and hacking their PC's :D
