The Space Marine demo recently dropped and it’s looking to break the notion of it being a Gears of War clone.

BOTTOM LINE: The games good, buy it if your a fan. Play the demo if interested. It's better than a lot of recent games this summer.

Exactly. I am really excited for this game. I just hope it doesn't get overshadowed or constantly compared to GoW3. Ths game deserves its own limelight.

Although I am not crazy about Warhammer(though I'm not here bashing it), after playing the demo I think that the only people that will compare it to GoW heavily are people that haven't played it themselves.

Clever 'name' btw, along with the blank avatar.(no sarcasm)

EDIT: I had to reword that first ridiculously long sentence... Whoops. ;)

this game should've had a co-op campaign... i hope the other co-op modes make up for it.

Co-op will be coming in a DLC patch down the road. Or so they say. Lets hope it comes soon though because, I would like my first run through to be with my buddies.

I'm so fucking sick of the Gears Of War Clone shit every clueless blogger keep posting. It's the other way around.

40k was a established franchise over 25 years ago. Anything Gears Of War has done 40K has done ten fold over the past several decades.

I am not a clueless blogger. I played the tabletop. I rolled Eldar and used to play on a weekly basis at my local Games Workshop. I've read several codex, books (dan abnett is a god), and enjoy the RTS series that Relic has done. Please don't stick me with the rest of the ignorant bloggers out there.

Also, I hope you actually read my article.

I don't care wether it's a clone or not, I just thought the game wasn't very good. Sub-par graphics, extremely repetitive gameplay, uninspired environments. The only thing missing was a movie license imo. Comparing it to Gears would be too much of a compliment.
