Raymond Cox, aka Stallion83, is the Guinness World Record holder for Gamerscore on Xbox 360. He's aiming to be the first person to collect a million points. Here he tells IGN how to amass the million.
I simply get as many achievements as possible for the games that I like, which is not that many. So much money thrown away; I'm sure most of the games he plays, he doesn't even care for. I checked his gamercard and he hasn't played Braid. I'm better than him.
Live in your parents basement, deny yourself any romantic relationship, and quit your job.
I'm not a Cheevo chaser but I understand why people do it; it's basically a game within a game. I just don't have time to fully engage in it...
Gotta be a virgin first. And gotta have some money and need to cut a sponsorship deal with a fastfood restaurant to get supplied for the next 5 years. The rest is easy. But really, joking aside, being in a decent relationship, having a job and doing things you like and having more than 600k gamerscore is amazing.
I love achievements, but im not wasting my money on The Hanna Montana games to get them.
I would be embarassed to have Hannah Montana the videogame in my achievement history. I looked at this guys account on XBL and he has High School Musical in his history. Funny thing is he has japanese games on his account along with 2 versions of Army of Two one from EU and one from Asia I thought the Xbox was region locked.
he has about 10 and from every region ,ntsc, ntsc j and pal.
biggest achievement whore ever!
stallion lol. what a lowlife
Achievements and trophies...gamers version of girl guide badges.
You might have a point, but achievements are also a way for devs to say to gamers "I bet you can't do this in our game" or "why not try playing a way you're not used to". I've had some really fun times going after some achievements, like in Dead Rising 1 saving every survivor, or doing stuff like in Call of Duty 3 playing through a level without firing a shot. Right now I'm going for the stealthy Deus Ex achievement for not killing anyone, you get a really nice feeling of 'noone even knew I was there' :) I still don't have the b***s to try for the Little Rocket Man achievement in Half Life 2 Ep2.
I dont get people who play crap games for achievement/trophies and then they are proud of it lol ANY1 can get those easy trophies (Terminator,Hannah Montanna) its not hard, if u do have well known hard games (Demons Souls,KZ2) only then i understand and as a gamer respect that.
i see what you are saying. i personally have terminator salvation and hannah montana platinum. not proud of em got em coz they are easy, but i am most proud of getting platinum on dead space, dead space 2, final fantasy 13 and most of all platinum demon souls 3x all region without boosting with other people. im not a trophy whore since i only have 26 platinum in total with 1300 total trophies. i havent played my ps3 in about 4 months neither. im mainly gaming on the 360 nowadays (all my friends are 360 owners only).
A guy with a score like that would not let me grace him with my presents. Hope that looks right I post on this site with my android thunderbolt.
Achievement Whore lol :D
Wonder how many 360s he's burned through. I popped two just getting to 15k...
i'm proud of my gentlemens thirteen hundred.
After reading the article it makes more sense now. Hes in the family business and seeing his house I can only assume it's a great family business. That's how he gets money to buy every game that he does. That's also why his girlfriend is still with him and doesn't mind his gaming addiction. She just takes all his money and probably goes shopping everyday. Shes loving it.
Let me guess. Play games.
