Forbes: Hurricane Irene No Match for Major League Gaming

Raleigh, North Carolina – A lot can change in a year. I attended my first Major League Gaming (MLG) Pro Circuit Tour stop last year at the Raleigh Convention Center. There was one main stage and a lot of open space with sponsor booths from Dr Pepper, Stride gum, and Doritos spread throughout the floor. This year, there were three main stages – each packed with spectators watching professionals playing Microsoft’s Halo: Reach, Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops and Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft II.
