Onlive is freakin awesome, and has the potential to be even better. I was a fool to not preorder Dues Ex 2, cause if you pre ordered the augmented version you could have gotten the micro console and controller for free. I'm actually pretty sad, its been awhile since a good game like this has come out, feels like years actually. So ya, i rented this from redbox and hopefully I can beat this in a couple of days cause I'm paying $2 dollars a day for this. Matter of fact, I better get back to this, time is a ticking.

BTW, this is the first game published by Squeenix that is actually worth playing (if not buying if you got the $$), but if i can beat it in a few days then I'm not gonna beat myself over the head about it. But damn, something inside me told me to get this version for online, the Micro console itself was worth it. Ahhhh, the torment!

Just wanted to point out, Deus Ex is a prequel. There already was a Deus Ex 2 (Deus Ex Invisible War) that was a sequel to the first game.

Many fans of the first game like to pretend Invisible War didn't happen though...

I think he's talking about Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Yes I know.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a prequel to Deus Ex.

Dues Ex: Invisible War was a sequel to Deus Ex.

It's hard for me to get excited about Onlive. I live in a small country village that is over 40m from the nearest real city and while my internet connection is of an okay speed (2m), it is very unreliable.

Also having lost the ability to play one of my games while PSN was down, even with a good internet connection, I'd be hesitant to go with a service that would mean lost of all my games if they had down time.

I have had a great experience with onlive so far and considering I am in the UK where the service hasn't launched yet is making me quite excited for the UK launch!!!

Onlive is a shit service for North America.

I can see it doing ok in UK though, because of the size of the country and infrastructure. In Canada and USA Onlive is a complete piece of shit because of internet infrastruction, and the massive size of the countries.

However.. I will never buy OnLive ever. I don't like this service, it pisses me off. Not because of the service.. I believe this service should wait and come out in 10 years..

Currently, internet companies with their bandwidth caps, and overpriced monthly payments. I can see this guy bad for them.

Onlive works good enough for me. I don't know why it would piss you off. Some people don't have gaming pc's so Onlive is their only option. You can also use it as a console. I don't see whats wrong with it besides a little bit of artifacting here and there and bandwidth caps (only a downside with excessive use).
