"One look at the recent actions and public statements from Nintendo should be enough to make one thing abundantly clear to anybody: the 3DS is struggling. After receiving initial mass-hype, sales quickly dropped. Either it was too costly or it was simply released at the wrong time to entice consumers. Maybe Nintendo failed to differentiate the 3DS enough from the DS, confusing all the new gamers that the console’s predecessor had attracted to the world of gaming."
