Yakuza unlikely on Xbox 360

EuroGamer: Yakuza, SEGA's long-running open world series, is unlikely to ever be ported across to Microsoft's Xbox 360 (PS3, Xbox 360, Yakuza)

Yakuza 4 was great...
... pretty much the closest we've come to a proper 3D Streets of Rage.
Simon_Brezhnev  +   1120d ago
Yeah i agree with Yi-Long. Yakuza 3 story was the worse in the series so far.

I could care less to be honest. I tried getting into the games, but I just found them flat out boring.
dangert12  +   1120d ago
you think i think yakuza can be very touching emotional story telling is what yakuza is about lol

@xPhearR3dx
The yakuza demo's do the game very little justice If you see It In the bargin bin or w.e don't miss out on it yakuza 3/4 are 2 of a few standout classics from this gen

I don't like Halo either lol

I tried the demo of 3 and 4, they felt like a copy and paste of each other for starters. Combat was lame and everything else about the game was just boring as hell.

You "could" care less?

Yakuza games are great , go Kazuma!!!!!!!!!!

I've finished the story...
... but I've never even played the karaoke-game yet (first time I'm seeing this actually LOL), plus I also haven't been to the golf-course yet.

I'm just not very sure what to do after finishing the story-mode. Before I finished it, there were gangs challenging Kazuma, but after I finished it, sadly they were gone... so I couldn't kick their bossess behind anymore... :(

Interesting...
.
I want Yakuza Vita.

The returning-glorious-non zombies Yakuza 5 could go to PlayStation 4.

PS:

Thank you very much for SONY to let Nagoshi & the Yakuza team makes Yakuza series.

I was converted into a believer after the brilliant Yakuza 2.

I dont think 360 gamers are interested in games like Yakuza. Which is probably why it wont come out on the 360.
jc48573  +   1120d ago
well, it seems one person is interested.
MasterCornholio  +   1120d ago
Sadly just one person who is willing to buy the game on the 360 isnt enough to justify a port to the console.
squallheart  +   1120d ago
Its the same reason i dont buy a 360, theres only one game i want and thats lost odyssey and im not willing to buy a console for just one game. I love the yakuza series havent bought 4 because im still finishing up some sidequests and stories on 3. Ill get to it hopefully this year.

The should localize Yakuza: Of The End. It looks pretty fun.
Dark_Overlord  +   1120d ago
And while there at it kenzan too :)
NarooN  +   1119d ago
It's hella fun. I played the demo for it, it's one long-ass demo lol. The part where you go into the DVD store with the other guys and the one clerk opens up a hidden compartment which has tons of crazy guns was awesome XD.
Sizzon  +   1120d ago
Haven't tried or played any of the Yakuza games, but they seem good. Liked the demo of Yakuza 4.
Cloudberry  +   1120d ago
Try it.
.
If you like the Y4 demo, you ought to like the full game.
Sizzon  +   1120d ago
Yeah I think I will :) both Yakuza 3 and 4 are pretty cheap nowadays.
tiffac008  +   1120d ago
I doubt Sega will risk putting Yakuza in the 360. They know they are safe with Japan and has a loyal fanbase out west on the PS3.

Unless MS is willing to pay big dollars for it, which I doubt they would because they know what market they have on their console.

And yeah I agree Yakuza: Of The End should be localized. I can't get enough of the Cabaret girls. lol!

I don't think anyone was asking for it, so this is alright.

I imagine gamers would be more interested in quality franchises anyways.

It is a quality franchise, probably better than the shit you play. Which is most likely CoD, Halo, Gears

He probably owns a Ps3, and like me only interested in a few Ps3 exclusives. The quality of Sony exclusives are waaay overstated.
