Deus Ex Human Revolution has finally be released! And, as with any new game release (especially on Windows platforms), you’ll have to deal with some problems before you get to play the game. Yep — you need game fixes! Check out these easy game fixes to solve your problems for Deus Ex. From crashing, lagging, freezing, or no sound, to even mouse sensitivity issues. (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, PC)

The DirectX 11 tip on here is actually really helpful. Seems to be working for a good bit of people. Some of the other stuff helped me out too (was experiencing some annoying mouse issues before)

Don't think I'm having a go or being a troll. But this is the biggest reason why I stick to console gaming. I can stick the game in and it works. I was always the unlucky one that had problems with my pc gaming and was always awaiting fixes for either sound or graphics. Everyone knows when it's working fine it pisses on consoles, but I just can't be assed anymore. I'd rather have a game working day one than sit tinkering.

Man, I must have lucked out. going on over 4 hours of game time, running in DX11 with everything maxed out at 1920*1080, steady 60 Frames per second (vsync is on, or else I would get more fps) and not a single hitch, bug, crash, or jitter. However, I bought my game on Steam. I don't know if there is a difference in DRM or not from retail/steam versions.

Running AMD 965 phenom OCed at 3.6ghz, 5870, 8 gigs ddr3 ram.

I havent been able to get on my copy via steam. Redownloaded twice now. Did all tips that ive seen on the issue and still no luck. Probably one of the most frustrating buying experiences ive ever had.

Ah that's rough. What's happening exactly?

Crash upon startup. The files they say to change arent in my folders. Took off dx11. My comp has run every game ive gotten off steam perfectly. Witcher 2 runs everything maxed except ubersampling in 1080p on my 52 inch. Updated drivers. Dont know what else to do
