GamesRadar: Deus Ex: Human Revolution Review

To say the 2000 release of Deus Ex changed the face of gaming might sound hyperbolic if it weren’t true. Warren Spector’s cyberpunk effort followed in the footsteps of his equally worthy System Shock series, smoothly melding the visceral feel of the first person shooter with the character progression and customization elements of role-playing games. At the time, these genres were oil and water, and this successful hybridization set the stage for games like Bioshock and even Modern Warfare. Deus Ex: Human Revolution clearly has a lot to live up to. Fortunately, Eidos Montreal has delivered on all fronts. (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, PC, PS3, Xbox 360) 10/10

Glad to see this game's hard like a gamer's game. No multiplayer is actually a plus for me.

I am playing on hard and getting my ass kicked. LOL

That being said I think so far the game is great, but a little overated. I agree with the scores between 8-9.5 but his isn't above a 9.5 imo.

I don't agree when they say it changes gaming. It isn't doing anything Mass Effect, MGS, Splinter cell, or Alpha Protocol didn't alread do and countless games before those.

It does, however, like Uncharted games, put everything together rather nicely.
