NowGamer - Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) Review

NowGamer - Eidos Montreal is in something of a pickle with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The original Deus Ex has a untouchable reputation: for many it's a classic that just can't be beat, name-dropped with the best that first-person gaming has to offer: Half-Life 2, BioShock, Oblivion. They all owe something to Warren Spector’s 2000 masterpiece. (Deus Ex: Human Revolution, PS3) 7.1/10

I hate NowGamer. Worst site in ages and here is why:

Score Breakdown for the 360 version review:
Graphics
8.0 / 10
Sound
8.1 / 10
Gameplay
7.2 / 10
Longevity
8.0 / 10
Multiplayer
N/A / 10

Overall
7.5 / 10

Final Verdict
Atmospheric, mature, detailed, classy and intriguing but let down sorely by short-sighted design and sloppy mechanics, the worst of which being AI so feeble you actually get beyond laughing and start pitying it.

Score Breakdown for the PS3 version

Graphics
7.2 / 10
Sound
6.8 / 10
Gameplay
7.6 / 10
Longevity
8.5 / 10
Multiplayer
N/A / 10

Overall
7.1 / 10

Final Verdict
Should Eidos Montreal earn the chance for another sequel – and we sincerely hope it does – then our only wish is that next time it is a little more courageous and progressive in making the necessary changes to return the series to the peak of modern, innovative gaming.

Ok we got the jist of it all. I get they get two idiots to review the games seperately but explain this to me. How is sound different between them? How is compressed DVD sound on 360 better than lossless 7.1 audio on PS3?

Or How is the PS3 getting more longevity than the 360 version?

It makes no sence that they do this crap. It isnt hard for one guy to play one version and the other play the counterpart, then tally the scores together and just disguss any differences in the versions. But they do this for ratings and quite frankly the guy who they picked to review the PS3 version is a retard. They do this all the time and I think it's just to give the PS3 version of multiplat games a lower score.

And before you call me something stupid like a fanboy or what not, look at the scores and compare for yourselves. It's a shame that media gets away with this crap.

Do you? Do you really?

Or, it could be the most honest score out there. Why not play it and find out.
