NowGamer: Notch wants to settle trademark dispute with arena deathmatch.
*clicks link* Where the hell is the story?
Story is live!
They could make this pay-per-view, stream it live. It's be epic AND promote both sides products
I love Notch. No. Seriously. But, also, the industry does need characters like him. They make this kind of bureaucracy far more entertaining.
ROFLMAO! Gotta love Notch.
Bethesda: *click* *click* *click* "They're not dead yet! They're glitching!" *click* *click* *click* Mojang: "This isn't Oblivion. You have to aim the reticle at the thing you want to die." Bethesda: *Rage quit* *Lawsuit*
... Bethesda owns iD ... iD made Quake ... What's stopping Bethesda (or rather, ZeniMax) from sending the iD guys to represent them?
I like where this is going. Better yet, stream it live.
I hope they record this or make it a live stream...I want to watch the watch :)
Never going to happen big companies don't like to play fair or to have a sense of decency they also don't like getting there hands dirty thats why they use lawyers there is a name for people like that. oh yeah "SPIN LESS"
Its a shame its really good press for both companies. Especially since theres no chance in hell a judge is gonna side with bethesda. Bethesda has the chance to turn negative press into positive press here and possibly set out to do which has a million to one chance of winning in court. Either way they gain some koolio points with pc gamers, game journalists, and other developers. Or a chance to trademark a game called scrolls if they win.
Oh Notch. You so funny.
